Joshua Hugg

Joshua Hugg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governmental affairs and housing advocacy. Currently serving as the Governmental Affairs Program Manager at Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District since April 2016, Joshua cultivates relationships with various governmental officials and collaborates with district experts to implement the annual legislative program. Prior experience includes a tenure as Program Manager at Housing Leadership Council of San Mateo County, where Joshua led comprehensive housing initiatives and built strategic partnerships to promote sustainable communities. Joshua's background includes roles as a Management Analyst Intern with San Mateo County and a Legislative Intern with County of Santa Clara, alongside a decade-long career at Intel and previous positions as a Lithography Process Engineer. Joshua holds a Master's in Public Administration from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, complemented by leadership training programs in San Mateo and Redwood City.
