Dustin Gettel

Dustin Gettel is an experienced City Councilmember for Midvale City, having been elected in November 2017 and reelected in November 2021, contributing to the municipality's growth during a period of significant population and economic development in Utah. Additionally, Dustin serves as a Claims Examiner III at the Utah Department of Health and Human Services, where responsibilities include evaluating Medicaid disability claims and appeals. Prior experience includes a faculty position at the University of Phoenix, focusing on effective teaching methodologies and course management, as well as a Client Services Manager role at BAYADA Home Health Care, overseeing client casework and implementing performance improvement projects. Dustin holds a Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law from Widener University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Neumann University.
