Mark Wood

Mark Wood is an experienced air traffic control professional, currently serving as an Air Traffic Controller at Midwest ATC since January 2022. Previously, Mark held various positions including Control Tower Operator and Air Traffic Control Lead at Amentum from December 2019 to January 2022, and Air Traffic Controller at AECOM from June 2018 to December 2019. Mark's military background includes roles as Chief Controller at the USAF, where responsibilities included leading 52 air traffic controllers and overseeing substantial aircraft operations, as well as serving as Pacific Theater Airspace Manager at the United States Air Force. Mark's career began in nondestructive testing, developing cost-effective inspection procedures. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Religion from Moody Bible Institute and two associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in Airway Sciences and Nondestructive Testing Technology.
