Julie Mattson Ostrow has a diverse work experience in the field of health and wellness. Julie Mattson worked at Midwest Dairy from 2007 to present, starting as a School Nutrition Program Manager and then transitioning to roles of increasing responsibility, including Director of Health and Wellness, Vice President of Health and Wellness, and currently serving as Vice President of Dairy Experience-Wellness. In addition, Julie has had a role as a Gold US Figure Skating Singles and Pairs test judge at US Figure Skating since 2007.

Julie Mattson Ostrow has a strong educational background in the field of nutrition and dietetics. Julie Mattson obtained a Master's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where they studied from 1983 to 1985. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Home Economics in Business (food and journalism) from the same institution, studying from 1977 to 1981. Julie completed their high school education at John Marshall High School from 1973 to 1977.

In addition to their academic degrees, Julie has obtained certifications as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in October 1986. Julie Mattson has achieved this certification twice.
