Dennis Gagliardi

Dennis Gagliardi has a strong background in the insurance industry. Dennis has held various leadership roles throughout their career, starting in 1995 with CIGNA P&C. At CIGNA P&C, they served as the Director of Premium Audit and Director of Finance for Workers Compensation. During their time there, they successfully led teams and implemented strategic initiatives that improved processes and increased premium billings by $40 million.

In 1999, Gagliardi joined ESIS as the Assistant Vice President of Finance and Chief Pricing Officer. During their tenure, they played a key role in transforming the company from experiencing net losses to profitability. By collaborating with C-level executives, they achieved a net profit of $60 million on $300 million in revenue within five years. Dennis also established and modified pricing models and controls to enhance sales performance.

After leaving ESIS, Gagliardi joined OneBeacon Insurance Group in 2004. Dennis held two positions during their time there, serving as VP of Finance and CFO, as well as VP of Operations and Technical, Claims. In these roles, they provided operational and financial leadership to support a $100+ million annual premium business. Dennis oversaw various claim functions, including reserving, settlements, and medical management programs. Additionally, they coordinated financial activities within the Claims Division, leading a team in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Currently, since 2012, Gagliardi has been working at Midwest Employers Casualty Company as the VP of Claims. In this role, they provide technical and operational leadership to a team of claims professionals. Dennis is responsible for all workers' compensation claim handling, claim process development, and implementation of best practices.

Dennis Gagliardi earned a BBA in Economics from the Fox School of Business at Temple University from 1972 to 1976. Dennis later obtained an MBA in Finance & Economics from the same institution, studying from 1978 to 1980.
