Sharon Erny

Sharon Erny currently serves as the Regional Excess Claims Manager at Midwest Employers Casualty Company, a position held since March 2012. In this role, Sharon oversees claims handling across 20 states for all Workers’ Compensation and Employer Liability claims, focusing on evaluating long-term liability and exposure for claims that exceed reporting thresholds, ensuring reserve adequacy and strategic direction. Prior to this position, Sharon worked as a Home Office Claim Consultant at Lumbermens Mutual Group, formerly known as Kemper Insurance, from March 2004 to February 2012, where expertise in claims management was developed.
