Larry Ramsden

Larry Ramsden has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as a Fiber Installation and Maintenance Technician at Midwest Energy & Communications since December 2019. Prior roles include a Field Technician II focusing on long haul fiber networks at an unnamed company, as well as a Network Technician at CenturyLink. Prior to CenturyLink, Larry contributed as a Fiber Technician II at Windstream Communications, performing installation, testing, and troubleshooting of DWDM equipment. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Switch Technician at CenturyTel, where responsibilities involved maintenance of 5ESS switches and fiber networks, and a Network Technician at KMC Telecom. Larry has also pursued relevant education, obtaining certifications in fiber testing and 5ESS switch maintenance from Lucent Technologies and training in FLM testing from Fujitsu. Larry holds a high school diploma from Walled Lake Central High School.
