Adam Ahmad has extensive work experience in the medical device industry. Adam'smost recent role is as the CEO and President of Midwest Interventional Systems, LLC, a contract design, development, and manufacturing company specializing in intravascular catheters and minimally invasive devices. Prior to this, Adam worked as a Quality Engineering Supervisor at Cardiokinetix, where they managed the global complaint system and oversaw the Quality Engineering/Quality Control group. Before that, they served as an R&D Engineer at Creganna Tactx Medical, where they led various projects related to cardiac implant delivery systems, guide catheters/dilators, and interventional neurology devices. Adam also worked at InSitu Technologies Inc., first as an Engineering Manager, overseeing projects in Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D, and managing the design and commissioning of a new manufacturing cleanroom. Later, they took on the role of R&D/Process Development Engineering Technician, where they developed catheter prototypes, assisted in prototyping a dual balloon catheter, and maintained testing operations for various medical devices.
Adam Ahmad attended the University of Minnesota from 2005 to 2010. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree, with a focus on Chemistry and Neuroscience.
