Paul Nelson

Paul Nelson is an experienced professional in the engineering industry, currently serving as a Sales Engineer at Midwest Mechanical Solutions since February 2022. Previously, Paul worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Windsor Engineers, where responsibilities included mentoring staff and overseeing MEP design projects. Paul has extensive experience at Obernel Engineering, holding various roles, including Senior Project Manager focused on business development, Director of Operations, and Mechanical Project Manager, engaging in project management and executing mechanical designs for commercial projects while conducting energy analysis for LEED certification. Paul began the career as a Mechanical Designer at MBN Engineering, designing ductwork and piping systems and establishing drafting standards. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Civil Engineering Technology from Minnesota State Community and Technical College.
