Dr. Nico Herz

Dr. Nico Herz currently serves as the Head of Industry for Manufacturing & High-Tech at Miebach Consulting Group, a role held since July 2016, where responsibilities include industry leadership and logistics management. With extensive experience as a Principal and Senior Consultant, Dr. Herz specializes in network planning, site analysis, logistics management, and process optimization, working across sectors such as industry, high-tech, FMCG/Food, and automotive. Prior positions include postdoctoral research at the Technische Universität Hamburg, focusing on supply chain management and maritime transport, as well as guest lecturing at Simon Fraser University. Dr. Herz holds a Doctorate in Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology, a Diplom-Ingenieur in Industrial Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin, and a Master's degree in Economics from Macquarie University.
