Rasha Ashkar is an experienced professional in the field of biotechnology, currently serving as a Practitioner in Food Biochemistry at Tel-Hai College since January 2021 and also working as a Lab Practitioner in Organic Chemistry. Rasha is a Research and Development Assistant and Master's student at MIGAL Galilee Research Institute, focusing on natural compounds and analytical chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Soliman Khateb. In addition, Rasha teaches important topics in biology, chemistry, physics, and food science to children and teens as an Instructor at Galilium. Previously, Rasha worked as an Analytical Chemist at Taro Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included quality-control analysis of raw materials, and served as a Laboratory Technician at Merieux NutriSciences. Rasha holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Tel-Hai College.
