Zara Abraham

Zara Abraham has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as a Teacher's Assistant at The Riverside School, India in 2009. In the same year, they were a Core Team Member at Design for Change, where they wrote press releases, corresponded with Non-Governmental Organizations, and travelled to different parts of India to conduct workshops and perform case studies. In 2011, they were a Graphic Design Intern at TNQ Technologies, and in 2012 they were a Web Communications Assistant at Chapman University. In 2013, they were an Orientation Assistant at Chapman University and an Animation Festival Coordinator at the Department of Design Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. From 2014 to 2019, they worked as a Product Designer at Stanford University School of Medicine and the University of Washington, Master of Human-Computer Interaction + Design. Finally, in 2020 they were a UX Designer at Dexcom, and currently they are a Senior Product Designer at Mighty Networks.

Zara Abraham completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Digital Arts, with a Minor in University Honors Program, at Dodge College of Film and Media Arts between 2011 and 2015. Zara then attended the University of the Arts London, where they obtained a Foundation Diploma in Design and Applied Arts in 2010-2011. In 2016-2018, they earned a Certification in 3D Modelling and Rigging from AnimSchool. Most recently, they obtained a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction and Design from the University of Washington in 2019-2020.
