Simon Chen

Simon Chen has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Simon started their career in 2017 as a Data Mining & A.I. Engineer at daVinci Retail. Later that year, they worked as a Design Verification Specialist at Evertz. In 2018, they served as a Drone Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo. Simon then joined Nymi in 2019 as a Mechatronics Engineer and subsequently worked at Forcen Inc. as a Surgical Robotics Engineer. In 2022, they transitioned to Forcen Inc. as an Electrical Designer before joining MightyFly as an Electrical Design Engineer.

Simon Chen obtained a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo, attending from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the same institution, studying from 2015 to 2020.
