Daniel Gahlinger

Daniel Gahlinger serves as the Group Chief Digital Officer and Head of Digital Business at Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund since July 2019. Previously, Gahlinger held positions such as Chief Service Delivery Officer at AdNovum Informatik AG and Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung at VRSG | Verwaltungsrechenzentrum AG St.Gallen, where responsibilities included financial management and IT application development. Gahlinger also contributed to AXA Winterthur as Head of Project Delivery and had roles in project management at Accarda AG and Helbling Technik AG. An extensive career in software engineering began at Zühlke Group and early experiences included a role as Senior Software Developer at Credit Suisse. Gahlinger holds multiple degrees including an Executive MBA from Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland and a Management Diplom from the University of St.Gallen.
