Hessel Brouwer

Hessel Brouwer serves as the Head of Controlling & Finance at Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Financial Analyst at Abbott, where support was provided for several European markets and leadership in special projects, and Head of Financial Control at Technical Components – Datwyler, responsible for financial oversight of key business units. Previous positions also encompass Head of Business Controlling at Distrelec Group and various financial analyst roles at Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiaries. Hessel holds a Master's degree in International Business Studies from Maastricht University and has attained certification as a Swiss Certified Expert for Accounting and Controlling.
