Michal Mráz

Michal Mráz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michal is currently working as a Senior IT Strategic Sourcing Lead & Product Owner at Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund. Prior to that, they served as an IT Transformation Project Lead at BANK-now SA. Michal also worked as a Senior Transformation Project Lead at Zurich Reinsurance Company Ltd., a Senior Market Research Specialist at Medstone Holding B.V. & Potato King B.V., and a Senior Project Lead and IT Delivery Manager at Zürich Versicherungs-Gesellschaft AG. Michal also co-founded MeshComp s.r.o. and held the role of Strategic Sourcing Manager ITO/BPO at Cembra Money Bank AG. In addition, Michal has experience as a Sourcing Financial Stream Lead at UBS and served in various roles at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd., including Senior IT Infrastructure Transformation PMO, Strategic Assistant to Global Head of IT Infrastructure, Strategic Sourcing Analyst & Lead PMO, and Global Associate at Vendor & Relationship Management Department. Michal started their career with a Graduates Internship at the Accounting, Dunning, and Business Administration Department at Internationaler Bund (IB).

Michal Mráz has an educational background in international financial management, business informatics, and informatics & maths. Michal obtained an Ing., M.Sc. degree in International Financial Management from Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg / University of Economics in Bratislava, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics from the University of Economics in Bratislava, which they completed from 2005 to 2008. Mráz completed their schooling at Gymnasium (High School) of Jur Hronec in Bratislava, Slovakia, from 1997 to 2005, where they obtained their School Leaving Examination with a focus on informatics & maths.

In addition to their formal education, Mráz has also obtained various certifications. These include the "Project Management Foundations: Risk" certification from the Project Management Institute, acquired in February 2021. Michal also completed the "Learning Cryptography and Network Security" certification from LinkedIn in January 2021. Mráz holds a "LinkedIn Learning Highlights: Project Management" certification, earned in June 2018. Michal has achieved the "Master Service of Excellence Certificate (Trusted Advisor Mindset)" from Zurich Insurance Company Ltd in February 2015. Additionally, they hold a "Lean Yellow Belt Certificate" from Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, acquired in June 2013. Mráz has also completed certifications in "Outsourcing Fundamentals" from LinkedIn in October 2012 and the "Zurich Project Management Framework Essentials Training" from Zurich Insurance Company Ltd in October 2011.
