Kelvin Summoogum

Kelvin Summoogum is the founder and CEO of MiiCare. Prior to this, they served as a Technology Advisor for Smart Cities for both Bristol City Council and Glasgow City Council. In these roles, they were responsible for leading the co-location of Telecare, Public Space CCTV, and Traffic Operations Centers to new headquarters. Kelvin also served as the solutions architect on the project, overseeing a team of business analysts and technology consultants to plan and develop the entire end to end solution for the new Bristol and Glasgow Operations Centers. Kelvin has expertise in video analytics, data analytics, middleware design, solutions architecture, and systems integration.

Kelvin Summoogum has a background in manufacturing engineering and information and communications technology. Kelvin has a BEng from the University of Mauritius, an MSc from the University of Greenwich, and a PhD from the University of Kent. Kelvin is currently a healthcare innovation executive at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a doctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge. Kelvin has also worked as a researcher in logistics and supply chain management at the University of Greenwich.
