Mike Borst

Mike Borst has extensive work experience in various leadership and coaching roles. Mike started their career at CoachNet Global in 2003 as an Executive Coach, Trainer, and Presenter. Mike then moved on to join Heritage Christian Church in 1998 as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, where they provided leadership and oversight to Children, Student, and Young Adult Ministries. In 2007, Mike joined SALIX as a Sales and Operations professional. In 2008, they joined Cleaver Company as a Resource Executive and Coach, and later became the COO and Resource Executive. At Cleaver Company, they helped companies grow their people through customized development solutions and provided coaching and training to executives and managers. In 2009, Mike founded and became the lead pastor of northchurch, where they provided leadership, teaching, vision, and values to a spiritual community seeking transformation.

Mike Borst received their Bachelor's degree in Business Management / Organizational Behavior from Miami University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Mike later pursued their Master of Divinity degree at Winebrenner Theological Seminary, completing their studies from 2000 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Mike has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include being a Certified Strengths Coach from Gallup, which they obtained in January 2023. Mike also holds a certification as a Certified Optimize Coach from Heroic Public Benefit Corporation, achieved in February 2020. In October 2017, Mike obtained a certification in Emotional Intelligence: EQ-i 2.0 from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS). Furthermore, they completed a CleaverDISC certification from Cleaver Company in June 2007. In terms of coaching skills, Mike has acquired expertise through certifications such as Coaching 101: Leadership Coaching from CoachNet Global in October 2003, and Personal and Professional Coaching from FranklinCovey in June 2003.
