Kati Häkkinen

Kati Häkkinen has a diverse professional background, currently serving as a member of the Alliance of Kati's Academy with the ALDE Party since June 2024, focusing on empowering women in European politics. As a Deputy Member of the Mikkeli City Board and a City Council Member since July 2021, Kati also holds numerous board positions, including with Mikkeli Development Miksei Ltd and Tapahtumatalo Mikaeli. Kati is a founder and partner of Aava Resort & Spa in Thailand and operates Tmi Kati Häkkinen, a consulting business in the hospitality and travel industry. Kati previously managed Savcor Ballet, an internationally recognized classical ballet festival, from 2005 to 2009 and has received multiple awards in the hospitality sector. Kati holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences.
