Silvio Perna

Silvio Perna is a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in the automation sector, currently employed at Mikron since October 2015, overseeing internal teams on customized assembly systems and managing stakeholder interactions. Prior to this role, Silvio held positions as a Mechanical Engineer focusing on CNC machinery and co-founded Italian Tape S.r.l, contributing to the design and fabrication of electrical cables. Earlier experience includes project engineering and mechanical design at Studio Micheletti, and draftsman responsibilities at Bruno Presezzi. Silvio holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Bergamo and completed the state examination to practice engineering in the industrial sector.
