Manoosh Samiei

Manoosh Samiei is an experienced AI researcher currently working at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute since September 2023. Previous positions include 3D Reconstruction Developer at Prevenotics Inc., where 3D stomach models were reconstructed from Endoscopy images, and Computer Vision & 3D Reconstruction Engineer at magicplan, focusing on ARKitScenes dataset and semantic segmentation. Manoosh has also contributed to automotive computer vision projects at Algolux and co-founded AwakeAI as an AI developer. Additionally, Manoosh has served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at McGill University. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from Shahid Beheshti University and a Master's degree in Computer Vision from McGill University, with ongoing PhD studies at both McGill University and Université de Montréal.
