Arianna Yuan

Arianna Yuan is a distinguished researcher in the field of artificial intelligence and cognitive psychology, with extensive experience in generative AI and machine learning. At Apple, from October 2020 to May 2024, Arianna served as a Senior Generative AI Researcher, leading cross-functional initiatives to develop evaluation criteria for product-critical applications and building systems for LLM training and assessment. Prior to this, Arianna held various roles at Stanford University, including Senior Machine Learning Scientist and PhD Researcher, focusing on computational models of human mathematical cognition. Arianna's research experience also includes internships at Google AI and Microsoft Research, and a foundational role as a Research Assistant at Peking University, where work involved the theoretical development of computational decision-making models. Arianna holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology, with a minor in Computer Science from Stanford University, and a Master’s Degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Peking University.
