Sonia Yousfi

Sonia YOUSFI, PhD, is an accomplished Applied AI Research Scientist at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute since May 2022, and also serves as a mentor for AI startups at CDL-Montreal. Prior experience includes a role as an AI Research Scientist at TotalEnergies focusing on AI and physics for renewable energies, and as an Expert in Machine Learning & Vision Systems at Continental, where work involved AI research for Automated Driving Assistance Systems. Earlier positions featured roles in deep learning and computer vision at Adentis on behalf of Continental and R&D engagements at Orange and academic internships with a focus on AI in multimedia. Sonia YOUSFI holds a PhD in Machine Learning from INSA Lyon, alongside Master's and Bachelor's degrees in related fields.
