Local sales and distribution companies are in Germany, Italy, France, Poland, the UK, and US. The company was built from scratch with its first operations in 2016, founded by legendary salmon processing figure Mr. Jerzy Malek. Scandinavian investment company Summa Equity acquired a majority position in 2017 and the remaining shares in 2020. The headquarter is in Oslo, Norway. In 2019 the factory in Slupsk, Poland, was extended, adding a significant increase in the production capacity to meet the growing customer demand for the well-known Milarex salmon quality.
