Jacob Bishoff began their professional career in 2012 as a Clerk at QuikTrip, where they gained experience in customer service and store maintenance. In 2016, they joined Oral Roberts University as an Engineering Department Assistant, where they performed clerical duties and assisted with 3D printing and data collection. Jacob also served as an Academic Peer Advisor/Tutor, providing assistance to students in various subjects and holding leadership responsibilities within the university.
In 2017, Jacob worked as a Research Assistant at Oseco, where they contributed to the design of a 3D printable rupture disc. Jacob then interned at Tompkins Industries, Inc., where they used SolidWorks to create and edit parts according to SAE standards, performed torque and pressure testing on hydraulic adapters and hoses, and conducted corrosion testing.
From 2018 to 2020, Jacob served as a Project Engineer at Taylor Forge Engineered Systems, Inc., overseeing the design, drafting, bill of material creation, and fabrication for various projects. Currently, they work as a Mechanical Engineer I at Milbank | Energy at Work, applying their engineering expertise.
Throughout their career, Jacob has demonstrated skills in mechanical engineering, CAD software, project management, and customer service.
