Nikke Kaemmerer BSN, RN, Author, currently serves as the RN Utilization Review Manager at Mile Bluff Medical Center since July 2022. With a longstanding commitment to diabetes awareness, Nikke has been a Type 1 Diabetes Advocate with JDRF since February 1996, focusing on fundraising and research support in the greater Milwaukee area. Prior experience includes various roles at MetaStar, Inc. from March 2016 to July 2022, where responsibilities included RN Quality Improvement Advisor, URAC Accreditation Data Validation, and Stroke Systems of Care Project Specialist under the Coverdell Grant in Wisconsin. Nikke has also contributed to Boy Scouts of America as a Volunteer & Merit Badge Counselor and supported FIRST Robotics from September 2012 to March 2020. Other employment includes positions at Aurora Health Care and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, highlighting expertise in critical care and quality improvement. Nikke earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Alverno College between 1998 and 2003.
