Lene Sabin Nichols has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Lene is currently the Director of Finance at Mile High Youth Corps, where they oversee financial operations. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Director of Finance and Finance and Accounting Manager at the same organization, managing grant and contract finances, accounting systems, and cash management. Before joining Mile High Youth Corps, Lene worked at Atlanta Ballet as the Controller and Accounting Manager. Lene also gained experience as a Payroll & Billing Specialist at QuestGroup LLC, where they managed payroll and processed invoices for temporary employees. Earlier in their career, Lene worked as an Executive Assistant at The Atlanta Opera, an Administrative Assistant at ManpowerGroup, and a Front Desk Associate at Atlanta Ballet.
Lene Sabin Nichols has a diverse education history. In 2007 to 2011, they attended the University of Florida, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre/Sociology. Following this, in 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Masters of Arts degree in Arts Administration at the Savannah College of Art and Design. In 2012, they also participated in a non-degree seeking program at Grundtvigs Højskole. In 2015, they obtained a certificate in Fundamentals of Payroll from Kennesaw State University. Lastly, in 2018, they obtained a certificate in Nonprofit Accounting from the Georgia Center for Nonprofits - Nonprofit University.
