Matt Murphy

Matt Murphy serves as Assistant General Counsel at Cantor Fitzgerald since September 2021 and as a Strategic Advisor at Mile Square Labs since January 2020. Previously, Matt held positions as Senior Commercial Counsel at Beacon Platform from March 2019 to August 2021, and General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Openlink Financial from August 2012 to April 2018. Additional experience includes working as Global Commercial Counsel at Colgate Palmolive from September 2011 to August 2012, and as an Associate at both Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP from November 2008 to September 2011 and Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP from September 2007 to November 2008. Matt holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in International Law and Legal Studies from California Western School of Law, a Certification in International Law and Commerce from the Saint Petersburg Institute of International Economic Relations, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Lafayette College.
