Carsten Bøgelund is a seasoned professional in security and software development, currently serving as the Head of Security & Compliance and Head of Product Security at Milestone Systems since March 2005. Carsten has led the establishment and management of the Product Security Incident Response Team, significantly enhancing the company's security focus. Prior experience includes roles as Security Architect and Principal Software Engineer, where Carsten was instrumental in developing and implementing a security development lifecycle for a diverse team of over 300 developers across multiple countries. Carsten's career began with positions at various companies, including Ementor and Web5000, where expertise was developed in software engineering and consultancy. Currently pursuing an MBA at Middlesex University, Carsten combines strong technical skills with leadership and cultural awareness to drive security initiatives and foster a security-minded organization.
