Laura Schneider

Laura Schneider is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Supervisor of Child Nutrition for Milford School District since December 2023. Prior to this role, Laura held the position of Principal at Seaford School District from August 2017 to December 2023. Additionally, Laura served as the Director and Special Assistant for Educator Effectiveness at the Delaware Department of Education from July 2014 to July 2017, where contributions included the development and implementation of the statewide educator evaluation system, DPAS-II. Laura's notable leadership experience also includes serving as Principal at Indian River School District, where recognition as the 2013 "National Distinguished Principal" for Delaware was achieved. Earlier in the career, Laura held principal and assistant principal positions in various school districts, beginning as an elementary school teacher. Laura Schneider obtained a Doctor of Education from the University of Delaware and holds both a Master of Education from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Delaware.
