Milieu Centraal
Maaike de Leeuw is an experienced communication advisor currently working at Milieu Centraal since March 2020. Prior to this role, Maaike de Leeuw contributed as a project assistant in communication for the Nationaal Actieplan Groenten en Fruit from September 2018 to February 2020. Maaike de Leeuw also provided freelance writing services for tourism-related SEO content at TripsByTips GmbH between February 2018 and January 2020. As a co-founder and secretary of Gewoon Vega from March 2017 to August 2019, Maaike de Leeuw focused on promoting sustainable food choices at Utrecht University. Previous experience includes an internship in education at ARTIS and research internships at Utrecht University and Riverside Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Environmental Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Utrecht University, as well as a NIMA A certification in Online Marketing.
