With comprehensive military experience, Steve held key positions in the US Army, including Brigade Executive Officer and Deputy Commander of the 10th Mountain Division, where management of operational planning and deployment for combat units was essential. Education includes a B.S. in Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an M.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and training at the Command & General Staff College.
