Lise Applebaum

Lise is the chair of Milken’s Board of Trustees and has served on the Board since 2015. Lise’s professional background includes the role of CPA at Deloitte & Touche for eight years, retiring in 1994 in order to raise her children. Aside from her current leadership role at Milken Community Schools, Lise’s volunteer background is extensive including serving on the Board of Directors of Beit T’shuvah from 2013 to the present, the Vista Del Mar Child & Family Services Board of Directors for seven years and as Sinai Akiba Academy Board Chair from 2005-2008. Lise and her husband Rob, are alumni parents of three graduates including Noah ’12, Kelila ’16 and Jared ’18. In her free time, she’s a dog lover and cooking enthusiast. Her passion lies in helping to shape the institution that’ll shape our future Jewish leaders.
