John Unzen

John Unzen, MHA has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. John started their career in 1984 as a Financial Analyst at North Memorial Medical Center, where they worked until 1986. John then joined Mercy Hospital & Health Care Center in 1986, where they held the position of CFO until 2007. In 2005, they briefly served as the Interim CEO at the same organization. Since 2009, they have been working as CFO at Mille Lacs Health System.

John Unzen, MHA has a Master of Health Care Administration degree from the University of Minnesota, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of St. Thomas, from 1975 to 1979.

In addition to their degrees, John Unzen also holds a certification in Management Studies in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota, which they obtained in June 2010.
