Hilton Sher

Hilton Sher has an extensive background in technology and cyber security. Hilton began their career in 1998 as the Vice President of Networking & Engineering at 40 Sales Hospitality & Gaming Technology Division. In 1999, they served as the Sr Director of Technology for VOIP. From 2007 to 2012, they were the Corporate/Area Director of Technology at Sheraton Gateway LAX, Radisson LAX & Doubletree Managed By Portfolio Hotels & Resorts. Hilton then moved to Hyatt Regency Hotel Managed by Prism Hotels & Resorts, where they served as the Director of Technology & Business Administration from 2012 to 2014. After that, they worked at Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd. as the IT Global Business Solutions & Onboard Revenue from 2015 to 2015. Hilton then moved to Marriott Hotels, where they were the Senior IT Director & Cyber Security Manager from 2015 to 2019. Most recently, they have been working at Cake Mortgage as the Cyber Security Information Executive & CTO since 2019. In this role, they have built the cyberthreat posture for over 400 endpoints, architected the entire development of the company's technology, and re-engineered the workflow of onboarding & offboarding.

Hilton Sher has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Hilton also holds a PMP from Los Angeles Pierce College and a Certificate in Advanced Cyber Security from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2017, they completed Stanford Cryptography I & II from Stanford University. Hilton also holds a CHTP Certified Hotel Technology Professional from Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals.
