Luke Idziak has a diverse background in various industries, including engineering, research, and conservation. Luke started their career as a Technical Solutions Developer and Conservation Technician at Gorget Design Studios Inc. in 2008 and later worked as a Chief Assistant at Cole Sculpture Studios from 2010 to 2011. In 2012, they took on multiple roles, including Advisor at Astrosociology Research Institute, Researcher at Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, and Report Manager and Editor at Space Frontier Foundation. In the same year, they pursued an MSc. in Space Studies at the International Space University, focusing on orbital debris mitigation technologies, historic preservation of orbital and planetary artifacts, and 3D printing ion thruster elements. Luke also worked as a USRA/EAP at NASA Ames Research Center from 2013 to 2014. Currently, they serve as a Spacecraft Systems Designer at Millennium Engineering and Integration since 2014. Luke holds a B.A. in Historic Preservation from the University of Mary Washington, completed between 2002 and 2006.
Luke Idziak completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Historic Preservation at the University of Mary Washington from 2002 to 2006. In 2010, they studied Polish Language and History at Jagiellonian University for a year. Luke then pursued a Master of Science degree in Space Studies at the International Space University from 2012 to 2013.
