Naftali Cohen

Naftali Cohen is an experienced professional in quantitative research and academia, currently serving as a Senior Quantitative Researcher at Millennium since 2025, and as an Adjunct Professor teaching Data-Driven Methods in Finance at Columbia University. Previously, Naftali held the position of Senior Quantitative Researcher at Schonfeld and served as Vice President and Research Lead at J.P. Morgan, focusing on AI and data science. Naftali's earlier roles include Research Scientist positions at Columbia University and Yale University, as well as teaching assignments at New York University. Academically, Naftali holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from New York University and two degrees from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Atmospheric Science and Chemistry, complemented by military service as a Captain in the Special Forces of the Israel Defense Forces.
