Ian Williams

Ian Williams is a Mission Operations Engineer at Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company since June 2023. Previously, Ian held various roles within the Missouri S&T Satellite Research Team, including Chief Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed the assembly and testing of a 3U CubeSat, project management of a team exceeding 20 members, and securing funding for initiatives. Ian also served as a Thermal Subsystem Lead, successfully presenting a thermal solution that garnered $350,000 in funding. Furthermore, Ian was involved in leadership positions within Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, contributing to budget management and member recruitment. Ian began their career as a Meat Clerk at Hyvee Grocery, focusing on customer service and adherence to health codes. Ian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
