Joseph Mueller is a Principal Astrodynamics Engineer and Boeing Associate Technical Fellow at Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company since June 2023, and serves as an Industrial Professor of Design at the University of Minnesota, where responsible for senior design and build/fly courses in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics since August 2022. Prior roles include Senior Researcher at SIFT from January 2014 to June 2023, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota from January 2005 to May 2022, teaching courses in Statics, Dynamics, Modeling and Simulation, and Orbital Mechanics. Joseph Mueller also has experience as Senior Technical Staff at Princeton Satellite Systems from August 2006 to December 2013, where eight successful SBIR proposals were authored, leading to projects in satellite decision support, mission planning, formation flying, and UAV trajectory optimization. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering, both obtained from the University of Minnesota.
