Michael Todaro

Vice President For Mission Operations & Integration at Millennium Space Systems

Michael Todaro has a diverse work experience spanning from 1992 to 2017. Michael started their career in the United States Air Force, where they held various positions in ICBM maintenance, including serving as a maintenance officer in charge of a successful flight test and evaluation. Michael later worked at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency as a technical support staff action officer, providing expertise on US nuclear stockpile management issues.

In the private sector, Todaro worked at ITT Industries, where they were a senior engineering specialist involved in system engineering support for NASA's Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System. Michael then joined Integral Systems, Inc. as a senior systems engineer and later became the director of the Los Angeles field office at Kratos Technology & Training Solutions, Inc.

Todaro continued their career at Millennium Space Systems, where they held several roles, including director of mission operations, vice president for programs and space operations, and vice president for mission operations & integration. In these positions, they were responsible for overall program execution, flight system activities, mission control architectures, and system-of-system integration planning.

Before transitioning to their current role, Todaro also worked at Northrop Grumman Corporation as a systems engineer and capture lead, focusing on satellite communications mission control systems.

Michael Todaro attended Mt Carmel High School for their secondary education. Michael then enrolled at the University of Southern California from 1987 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace Engineering. Afterward, they pursued further education at Webster University from 1995 to 1997, obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Space Systems Management. In 1998, Todaro took graduate courses in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Maryland for one year and also completed a Professional Military Education program at Squadron Officers School. Lastly, in 2010, they participated in a short course on Financial Management for Engineers at the University of Southern California.
