Sanny Omar

Sanny Omar is a Lead GNC Engineering Manager at Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, since February 2020. Prior to this role, Sanny worked as a PhD Student at the University of Florida from 2015 to February 2020, focusing on controlled spacecraft re-entry utilizing aerodynamic drag at the Advanced Autonomous Multiple Spacecraft (ADAMUS) lab. Additionally, Sanny completed an engineering internship in Guidance, Navigation, and Control at SpaceX in summer 2015 and held an internship at GE Aviation in summer 2014. Sanny holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Florida (2015-2019) and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Auburn University (2011-2015).
