Thompson Cragwell is a spacecraft mechanical engineer with extensive experience in spacecraft design and systems engineering. Currently at Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, Thompson serves as the Structures Lead, overseeing program development from concept through milestones such as Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR). Responsibilities include producing engineering drawings, designing satellite mockups using Additive Manufacturing, and analyzing spacecraft ground support equipment. Prior roles include space research and development engineering, where Thompson led test planning and documentation efforts, and structural engineering research assistance at Boston University, involving the design and manufacturing of CubeSat components and systems. Thompson holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University and has contributed to initiatives for the National Society of Black Engineers.
