Waqar Ahmed Khan

Waqar Ahmed Khan is a Power Electronics Engineer at Miller Electric Mfg. LLC since March 2023, focusing on the research and development of Si/SiC based power electronic converters for welding processes and induction heating equipment. Prior to this role, Waqar served as a Doctoral Candidate at Marquette University from January 2018 to April 2023, where the dissertation centered on a "1Mhz, 1MW AC-to-DC Ultra Fast EV Charger," funded by the Department of Energy under the ARPA-E CIRCUITS Program. Earlier experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at Aalto University from June 2015 to March 2016, which involved data extraction from scientific journals and assisting in laboratory sessions. Waqar holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Power Electronics and a Master's in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University and Aalto University, respectively, along with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila.
