Vern Oakley

Vern Oakley has more than 40 years of work experience in various roles within the real estate industry. Vern is currently the President of Asset Management at Culmen Real Estate Services since 2018. Previously, they worked at Miller-Valentine for over two decades, starting in 1994 as a Partner and President of Asset Management. In this role, they were responsible for managing a commercial real estate portfolio of over 9 million square feet across multiple markets. Prior to that, Oakley worked as a Real Estate Developer and Assistant Controller at Miller-Valentine Group from 1980 to 1990. Vern began their career as a Staff Auditor at Deloitte & Touche in 1979.

Vern Oakley completed their education with a BA in Psychology from Miami University in 1976, where they had previously attained an MBA degree with a double major in Management and Accounting from 1976 to 1978. Prior to their university education, they attended Fairborn High School from 1968 to 1971.
