Ben Metzger

Ben Metzger has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ben is currently employed as a Cloud Security Analyst at MillerKnoll. Prior to that, they worked as a DJ and owned their own DJ business called Ben-Jamin' the DJ. Ben also gained experience in cyber security as an Associate Cyber Security Specialist at Amway. Additionally, they worked as a Logistics Coordinator at Michigan Technological University and interned in information security and IT production support roles at Amway. Ben also served as a Resident Assistant at Michigan Technological University and held positions as an Order of the Arrow Coordinator at Crystal Lake Scout Reservation and as a Caretaker at Demby Island.

Ben Metzger attended Three Lakes High School from 2011 to 2015. After completing high school, they enrolled at Michigan Technological University, where they pursued a degree in Computer Networking & System Administration. Ben attended Michigan Tech from 2015 to 2019. In 2020, Ben enrolled at the SANS Technology Institute in order to study SEC545 Cloud Security Architecture & Operations. The following year, in 2021, they joined the Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Academy to obtain a degree in Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineering (PCCSE) with a focus on Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.
