Ccmp Katie Finlayson

Katie Finlayson, CCMP has a diverse work experience in various roles related to workplace strategy, project management, and facilities operations. Katie is currently working as the Head of Workplace Strategy at MillerKnoll since September 2022. Previously, they served as the Senior Workplace Experience Team Lead- East Region at MillerKnoll from August 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining MillerKnoll, Katie worked as the Workplace Strategy Lead- West Region at Herman Miller from September 2018 to July 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Advisor, Project Management at Cresa Salt Lake City from April 2016 to April 2019.

Katie also has experience in facilities operations and project management. Katie worked as the Facilities Operations Manager at Vivint Solar from January 2015 to April 2016, where they managed the construction of corporate headquarters and new field locations. Additionally, they served as the Project Manager and Design Consultant at United Contractors, Inc from June 2014 to January 2015, specializing in residential and commercial improvement projects.

Earlier in their career, Katie held the positions of Project & Facilities Manager at Backcountry.com from March 2013 to June 2014, where they managed multiple remodeling projects and day-to-day operations, and Assistant to C-suite (CTO, CFO, COO) from January 2011 to March 2013. Katie also worked as a Transaction Manager to Luxury Estate Broker at Coldwell Banker United, Realtors from October 2003 to May 2005, and as a Sales Associate/Assistant to Senior Vice President at The Corcoran Group from August 1998 to September 2001, providing support for high-profile sales and preparing board packages for coop sales in Tribeca.

Katie Finlayson, CCMP, began their education at the University of Colorado Boulder in 1990. However, the exact degree and field of study for this period are unknown. Katie then attended the University of Utah from 1995 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sociology. In September 2019, Katie obtained the certification of Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) from Prosci.
