Elizabeth Barnes has a diverse work experience in the design industry. Elizabeth has worked as a Strategic Relationship Executive at MillerKnoll since September 2022. Prior to that, they were a Design & Application Strategist - Healthcare at the same company from November 2021 to September 2022. Elizabeth has also worked as a Sales & Application Specialist - Healthcare at Herman Miller from June 2021 to November 2021.

Before joining MillerKnoll and Herman Miller, Elizabeth worked at Gensler from 2016 to 2021, holding roles such as Resource Director, Designer & Workplace Strategist, and Design Strategist. Elizabeth also worked at EvensonBest LLC as a Project Coordinator from 2015 to 2016, and at Molteni&C as a Project Coordinator from March 2015 to September 2015.

In addition, Elizabeth has experience in material archiving and research. Elizabeth worked at Material ConneXion as a Material Archivist from January 2012 to February 2015, where they managed a library of materials and conducted material research for various industries. Elizabeth Barnes, Industry IIDA, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Interior Design from Kendall College of Art and Design. Elizabeth attended the college from 2007 to 2011. In 2015, they furthered their education by obtaining a Certificate in AutoCAD 2015 from the New York Institute of Technology. This certificate focused on Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching.
