Luis Pineda

Luis Pineda has a diverse work experience in various management and coordination roles. Luis worked as an Operations Manager at MillerKnoll since 2018. Prior to that, they served as an Operations Manager at Grupo VIGIA from 2014 to 2018. During this time, they successfully led operations in 7 areas supporting over 500 sales points across 23 business units, managed a budget of $380MDP per year, and consistently exceeded operational profit targets. In addition, Luis worked as a Project Management Office Manager at Grupo VIGIA from 2014 to 2016, where they established the PMO at a corporate level and managed a portfolio of over 200 projects. Before joining Grupo VIGIA, Luis worked at Industrias AlEn S.A. de C.V. from 2009 to 2014, first as a Project Control Coordinator and then as a Sr. Project Engineer. In these roles, they ensured adherence to project management methodologies, implemented reporting formats, risk matrices, and lessons learned documentation, and successfully managed multiple large-scale projects. Prior to that, Luis worked as a Jr. Project Manager at Hermosillo from 2008 to 2009, where they monitored project progress, implemented control processes, and managed budgets for various projects.

Luis Pineda completed their education from 2003 to 2008 at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they earned a degree in Ingeniería with a specialization in Ingeniería civil. Along with their formal education, they also obtained additional certifications, including Project Management for Herman Miller Dealers from Solomon Coyle, LLC, in January 2021, and Project Manager Professional from the Project Management Institute in August 2015.
