Melanie Charlton

Melanie Charlton, NCIDQ, IIDA, SCCID, serves as the VP of Professional Development at IIDA Intermountain and as a Strategic Relationship Executive at MillerKnoll, both roles commenced in 2024. With extensive experience at Henriksen Butler from 2014 to 2024, Melanie held positions including VP A+D and Workplace Strategy, VP Design, and Director of Workplace Strategy. Previous roles include Chapter Past President at IIDA Intermountain and System Interior Designer at St. Luke's Health System. Early career experience includes work as an Interior Design Associate at Callison and as an Interior Designer at LMN Architects. Melanie's academic background includes a BFA in Interior Design from Brigham Young University, complemented by a minor in Art History. Fluent in Spanish, Melanie also demonstrated dedication through service as a representative for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in La Paz, Bolivia.
