Sarah Girard

Sarah Girard has a diverse work experience in the field of interior design and specification technology analysis. Sarah currently holds the position of Design & Specification Technology Analyst at MillerKnoll since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Herman Miller from 2020 to 2021 in the same role.

Before joining MillerKnoll and Herman Miller, Sarah worked as an Interior Designer at NBS Commercial Interiors from 2018 to 2020. Their responsibilities included integrating furniture, architecture, and technology to create workplace environments that meet customers' needs. Sarah also prepared documentation for successful installations.

Sarah also gained experience as an Interior Designer at AIREA Inc. from 2017 to 2018 and at Price Modern in 2016.

Sarah started their career at Haworth in 2012, where they served as a Canvas Designer Advocate from 2013 to 2016 and as a Design Marketing Intern from 2012 to 2013.

Sarah Girard attended Trenton High School from 2004 to 2008, obtaining no degree or field of study. Following their high school education, they went on to attend Central Michigan University from 2008 to 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Arts (B.A.A) with a major in Interior Design. Additionally, they minored in Art & Business Administration during their time at the university. In August 2022, Sarah obtained certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance.
